In a moving appeal, Alh. Abubakar Abdul Giza, the Ciroman Giza, has called upon the citizens of Nasarawa State to come together in prayers to honor the memory of the late Governor Alh. Aliyu Akwe Doma. Acknowledged as a foundational figure in Nasarawa’s history, Alh. Doma’s contributions to the state's establishment and development remain deeply impactful.
Highlighting the importance of Governor Doma’s legacy, Alh. Giza emphasized the need for both Muslims and Christians to transcend religious and political differences, standing united in recognition of the late governor’s service and vision that paved the way for the state's progress.
“As we remember the life and immense contributions of Alh. Aliyu Akwe Doma, we must honor him as a leader whose efforts helped to lay the foundation for Nasarawa State's growth. Our respect and prayers are fitting tributes to his enduring legacy,” Alh. Abdul Giza remarked.
In his closing appeal, he prayed, “May the soul of Alh. Aliyu Akwe Doma find eternal peace and may Aljanatul Firdausi be his final abode.”
“Adieu, Baba Madauchin Doma,” he added, paying a personal tribute of respect and reverence.
