The State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Aliyu Bello, alongside the APC's executive committee, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Adamu Bako on his recent election as the Nasarawa State Chairman of the People's Democratic Party (PDP). Chief Otaru Douglas, the APC State Publicity Secretary, conveyed the message on behalf of the party.
In the congratulatory statement, Dr. Bello welcomed Mr. Bako to the evolving political landscape of Nasarawa, underscoring the crucial role of the opposition in advocating for robust policy critiques and alternative solutions. He expressed confidence that Mr. Bako's leadership will strengthen the state's democratic values by fostering good governance and enhancing accountability within the government.
Dr. Bello further emphasized the APC's belief in Mr. Bako's political acumen, stating that his experience would greatly support efforts to increase political participation and cultivate constructive competition, ultimately driving the ruling party to meet the aspirations of Nasarawa’s citizens.
