Value for Daily Living International (VDLI) has introduced a student of Jewel Model School, Makurdi, Miss Akpem Comfort as their Ambassador in North Central Nigeria.
Comfort Akpem it would be recalled was chosen as one of the ten global ambassadors after being selected as one of the top essayists out of over five thousand entries from Nigeria, Africa, and the UK.
Four ambassadors eventually were selected from the UK and six from Nigeria, from the essay writing competition, with Akpem representing Jewel Model School, Makurdi.
The achievement led to the Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, and the Commissioner for Education, Rev. Dr. Frederick Ikyaan, being honored as honorary ambassadors of VDLI.
The Governor was represented at the occasion by the Secretary to the State Government, Bar. Serlumun Aber, during the unveiling ceremony at the school.
Meanwhile, the Director of Jewel Model School Makurdi, Bar. Christopher Diba Utulu, expressed gratitude to the Commissioner for Education for his support and visits to the school.
Akpem's success has brought pride and joy to the school, and has inspired the team to work even harder.
