From Suleiman Abubakar MAPSA
Residents of Tudun Kofa Ward in Keffi Local Government Area have made a passionate plea to Governor Abdullahi Sule to intervene in what they describe as a politically motivated attempt to hijack the Councilor candidacy in their ward.
According to them, Kawu Haji, an uncle to the governor, is allegedly using his family connections to manipulate the process in favor of his preferred candidate.
The community alleged that Kawu Haji, along with his children, Sarki and Jamila Haji—both serving as personal assistants to Governor Sule—are exploiting their relationship with the governor and his daughter, Hussei, to influence the outcome.
Additionally, they claim that Baban Madina and his sisters, who previously served as personal assistants to the immediate past chairman of Keffi Local Government, are also allegedly involved in supporting the said manipulation.
Despite these concerns, the residents maintain their high regard for Governor Sule, describing him as a man of integrity who believes in justice, fairness, and consensus-building.
They are confident that he will not condone any actions that undermine these values and are urging him to step in and ensure that the democratic process is upheld in Tudun Kofa Ward.
