The atmosphere in Nasarawa Eggon was electric as Hon. Iliya ibn Aliyu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairmanship candidate, officially launched his campaign council.
With a crowd of party supporters and community leaders, Hon. Aliyu unveiled a comprehensive vision centered on job creation for youth, strengthening local healthcare, and prioritizing security for all residents if elected.
During the event, he promised to foster a government that values inclusivity, ensuring that every voice in Nasarawa Eggon is heard.
He called on the community to sustain their unwavering support for Governor Abdullahi Sule, commending the governor’s ongoing dedication to progress and development in the region.
The campaign council, consisting of over 40 members, is headed by Hon. Mary Enwangulu, a groundbreaking figure as Nasarawa's first female lawmaker. Her leadership highlights APC's commitment to inclusivity and community empowerment.
In their addresses, various speakers emphasized unity and peaceful campaigning, urging APC supporters to reach every corner of the community.
The event was graced by notable figures, including Hon. Jacob Kudu, Member for Nasarawa Eggon East at the State House of Assembly; his predecessor Hon. Muliku Agah; and APC State Woman Leader, Blessing Julius.
All attendees echoed calls for solidarity, pledging their full support for Hon. Aliyu’s vision and for the victory of APC in the forthcoming elections.
