A young woman simply identified Blessing, who made headlines for taking a man's mattress after he failed to pay for their hookup, has received an outpouring of support from the public.
Blessing, a mother of two from Benue State, gained widespread attention when a video of her seizure of a mattress after a whole night sex rump with a broke guy at Gyado Villa in Makurdi went viral on social media recently.
The man had allegedly offered her his home theater system or the mattress as compensation in exchange for money, but then reneged on the payment.
After sharing her story with humanitarian worker Ukan Kurugh, Blessing revealed the hardships that led her to turn to sex work.
Following the death of her mother and a failed marriage, she found herself struggling to support her children.
However, according to sources, a philanthropist named Adoo Eugenia Ter stepped in to help the situation.
In response to Blessing's situation, concerned Nigerians raised N500,000 and gifted her a sewing machine to start a new business and leave her past behind.
The donations and support are expected to provide Blessing with a fresh start and the opportunity to support her children while building a stable future.
What began as a difficult situation has now turned into a chance for Blessing to rebuild her life thanks to the generosity of others.
