The Action Peoples Party (APP) is on the verge of a major victory in the ongoing local government elections across Rivers State.
Early reports from polling units suggest that APP candidates are leading in all 23 local government areas.
Our correspondent on the ground notes that several other political parties, including the All Progressives Congress (APC), All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), and Young Progressives Party (YPP), are also in contention. However, APP appears to be securing a commanding lead over its rivals.
