Hon. Aminu Muazu Maifata, the outgoing Executive Chairman of Lafia Local Government Area, has officially transferred the council’s affairs to Alhaji Abubakar S. Waziri, the Director of Personnel Management, marking the conclusion of his three-year tenure. The handover took place during a formal ceremony.
During his speech, Hon. Maifata, also known as Jarumin Lafia, expressed satisfaction with his leadership accomplishments, highlighting several impactful projects executed throughout his term.
He thanked the council staff and the people of Lafia for their support and urged them to extend the same cooperation to his successor.
