Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has approved the appointment of five new permanent secretaries in the state's civil service. The appointments are part of the governor’s ongoing commitment to improve the welfare and performance of civil servants.
The appointments were announced in a statement issued by the Head of Civil Service, Barrister Abigel Waya, who emphasized that the governor remains dedicated to enhancing the conditions of the state's workforce.
The newly appointed permanent secretaries are:
Jafaru Yakubu (Nasarawa Local Government)
Ibrahim A. Adamu (Toto Local Government)
Aliyu Ayitogo (Obi Local Government)
Yarima Mari (Nasarawa Eggon Local Government)
Yona E. Kagbo (Karu Local Government)
Additionally, Governor Sule has directed that the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Works and Housing, Mohammed Ibrahim Otaki, temporarily oversee the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development until a substantive permanent secretary is appointed. This directive takes immediate effect.
