The Bulgarian government has expressed a strong interest in collaborating with Plateau State, Nigeria, to enhance agriculture, security, and education.
This was disclosed by the Bulgarian Ambassador to Nigeria, His Excellency Mr. Yanko Yordanov, during a courtesy visit to Plateau State Governor, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, on Friday at the Old Government House, Rayfield, Jos.
Ambassador Yordanov emphasized the unique potential of Plateau State, citing its favorable climate and peaceful environment.
He outlined three major areas of focus for the partnership: introducing modern agricultural technologies, improving security through training for the state's Operation Rainbow, and building capacity at Plateau State University, Bokkos.
Governor Mutfwang welcomed the collaboration, expressing optimism that the partnership with Bulgaria will significantly contribute to the state's economic development, particularly in agriculture, tourism, and education.
This engagement marks a significant step in strengthening the relationship between Plateau State and Bulgaria, with both parties committed to mutual growth and development.
