The ambitious projects embarked upon by the management of Benue Investment and Property Company, BIPC is set to expand its bread production capacity with the creation of over 100 new jobs and provide opportunities for 175 more.
The Managing Director of BIPC, Dr. Raymond Asemakaha announced this in Makurdi during inspection tour of ongoing works at a polythene production factory and the annexed branch of the company's bread manufacturing factory.
With plans for commissioning in the next 15 days, the project aims to meet the growing demand for BIPC products and reduce unemployment in the state.
The expansion will also see the manufacturing of nylon bags, packaged water bags, extrusion, and labeling all done in-house, saving costs and retaining cash flow within the local economy.
