In a recent development, officials of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Langtang South have dismissed reports of the suspension of Honourable Bendal Domfa, the representative for Langtang South in the Plateau State House of Assembly. Deputy Chairman of the APC's Tahbol Ward, Honourable Venbong Ramnap, stated that no such suspension has occurred and that allegations of anti-party activities by Hon. Bendal are "false and unfounded."
Addressing journalists alongside party secretary Mr. Bala Setyep and other officials, Ramnap emphasized their support for Hon. Bendal and the party’s leadership. He firmly asserted that the claims of suspension are baseless.
Hon. Bendal Domfa himself characterized the rumors as laughable and unconstitutional, attributing them to "anti-democratic forces" within the local APC.
He criticized those who announced his suspension, calling them "a bunch of comedians and pretenders."
The APC officials reaffirmed their confidence in Hon. Bendal, seeking to clarify the situation to the public and uphold the integrity of their party.
