He made these remarks during an exclusive interview with our correspondent at the Lafia Township Stadium, shortly after participating in a novelty football match organized to mark Nasarawa State’s 28th anniversary of its creation.
Speaking passionately about the significance of the celebration, Alhaji Abdul Giza expressed his deep appreciation for the founding fathers of Nasarawa State, who worked tirelessly to turn the dream of the state’s creation into a reality.
He commended their vision and resilience, attributing the growth and progress witnessed in the state today to their dedication and sacrifice.
"As a state, we have come a long way, but to achieve greater development, we must foster peace, unity, and love among ourselves. These are the core values that will propel Nasarawa to new heights," he stated.
The novelty match was part of the broader festivities to honor Nasarawa's journey since its creation, drawing participants and spectators from across the state in celebration of its heritage and future aspirations.
