Nasarawa State Governor and Chairman of the North Central Governors’ Forum, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, has congratulated Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, following his victory at the Supreme Court.
The judgment, which was delivered on Friday, was hailed by Governor Sule as “an affirmation of the will of the people of Kogi State, and a triumph for justice and democracy.”
In his reaction to the ruling, Governor Sule urged Governor Ododo to "put the litigations behind you and redouble efforts to deliver good governance and prosperity to the people of your great state in line with the manifesto of our party, the APC.
" He stressed the importance of moving forward with a focus on delivering tangible benefits to the citizens of Kogi State.
Governor Sule also advised Governor Ododo to be magnanimous in victory, serving as a leader for all citizens of Kogi State.
He called on the people of the state to rally behind the administration, emphasizing that unity is essential for the progress of the state, the region, and the nation as a whole.
Ibrahim Addra, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, added that Governor Sule’s message reflects his deep commitment to the principles of democracy and good governance.
Addra noted that Governor Sule’s encouragement to focus on governance is a testament to his belief in the transformative power of effective leadership and his dedication to the welfare of the people in the North Central region.
