A Member of Kaduna state House Assembly representing Zaria City Constituency and Chairman of the house committee on Education Honourable Mahmud Lawal aka Bola Ige has appreciated the State Governor, Senator Mallam Uba Sani for his zeal to have brought rapid intervention on education across the State in the interest of pupulace of the State particularly Youth.
He made the appreciation at the 28 graduation ceremony of Centre for Human Resource Development and Empowerment Initiative organized by jointly National open University's Centre for Human Resource Development held at the University.
He stated that in order to salvage Education 26% of the State Budget was allocated to education sector with view improve education while another intervention by the present administration was reduction of 50% tuition in all the State's Tertiary Institutions.
Honourable Bola Ige added that 100 Junior Secondary Schools were upgraded to Senior Secondary Schools and fully equipped.
"Itsworthy note that the Government had established 3 Skills acquisition Centre for in the interest of teaming Youths and Women in the 3 Senatorial Districts of the State.
"Kaduna state Government under our able Governor's efforts is focused attention in addressing the issue of drop out school children have resulted in the successful return of 10,000 Students, underscoring the release of 205 million naira to the State Scholarship and Loan Board which also another great achievement of;the Governor on education"
