Nasarawa State welcomed a team from the Islamic Development Bank and the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) for an assessment tour of Almajiri school projects in the state.
Speaking to journalists on behalf of the national body, the state program manager, Hajiya Zainab Magaji, confirmed that the team expressed satisfaction with the quality of work at the Lafia project site situated in Kwandare.
She added that such projects have been allocated in each of the three senatorial districts of the state, including Nasarawa Local Government, Wamba, and Lafia.
Hajiya Zainab Magaji applauded the Islamic Development Bank for choosing Nasarawa as one of the states to benefit from the project.
She further explained that the project's success would not have been possible without the extra efforts of Governor Abdullahi Sule and his team.
Our correspondent reports that the visiting team urged the contractor to double his efforts to complete the job within the stipulated time.
