On Thursday, June 6, 2024, the residents of Kofar Makama and neighboring areas visited the Commissioner of Police of the Nasarawa State Command, along with representatives from sister agencies.
The delegation, led by Retired Deputy Comptroller General Abdullahi Sangari, commenced their visit at the D Division Police Station and the Civil Defense Office in Tudun Amba, Lafia, before proceeding to the state police command headquarters.
The leader of the delegation expressed appreciation for the police activities in Lafia and its environs.
He also highlighted the community's security challenges, prompting the visit and their interest in implementing community policing initiatives.
Commissioner of Police Nadada welcomed the delegation's support and assured them of the command's full cooperation.
He emphasized the importance of providing proper guidance to ensure the successful establishment of the community security outfit.
