Dr. Ganduje, APC National Chairman, unleashed violent thugs on a peaceful procession at the National Head Office of the APC in Wuse.
The procession, organized by the Coalition of APC North Central Stakeholders, called for Dr. Ganduje's immediate resignation due to his continued leadership, which they deem illegal. The peaceful demonstration was violently dispersed by thugs allegedly ordered by the party.
The procession also urged North Central APC Governors and other critical party stakeholders, who are scheduled to meet on Saturday, May 25th, in Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital, to advocate for the North Central Geopolitical Zone.
They called for the return of the National Chairmanship position to their zone as agreed in the APC Convention of 2022.
The protesters emphasized the importance of this move, highlighting that despite Dr. Ganduje's unconstitutional chairmanship, his North West zone continues to support him, with few dissenting voices such as Dr. Salisu Lukman.
