A report from Kano State indicates that Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero has joined Sanusi Lamido Sanusi at the palace under heavy security personnel.
Sanusi was accompanied to the palace by top Kano State government officials, including Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and Musa Rabiu Kwankwaso, according to the report.
This marks the first time in the history of Kano that two kings will rule simultaneously.
