Lafia - Hon. Mohammed Adamu Omadefu, the representative for Keana Constituency in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has called upon the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) Keana branch to prioritize unity and teamwork.
During a meeting with NURTW officials in his office today, Hon. Omadefu stressed the importance of working together to maintain peace and enhance transport activities within the area.
He further urged the union members to coexist harmoniously for the mutual benefit of the union and the broader community.
Expressing his gratitude for their visit, Hon. Omadefu assured the union of his unwavering support. Additionally, he reaffirmed his commitment to providing assistance to victims affected by the recent windstorm disaster in the area.
In a separate engagement, Hon. Omadefu met with members of his support group, "Quality Boys," encouraging them to remain focused and continue supporting his endeavors.
He urged them to maintain peace, promote tolerance, and support the current government regardless of affiliations.
Responding to the lawmaker's remarks, Mr. Salisu Tanko Safiyanu, Chairman of Keana NURTW, and Mr. Ahmed Idris Epu, Leader of Quality Boys, commended Hon. Omadefu for his exemplary leadership.
They expressed their gratitude for his support and appealed for assistance in addressing some of their challenges, to which Hon. Omadefu pledged his attention.
