Former Zamfara State Governor and current Senator representing Zamfara West Senatorial District, Alhaji Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar, has urged the people of Zamfara State to use the holy month of Ramadan as a time to pray for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the nation's stability.
This was contained in a press statement signed by, Hon. Ibrahim Muhammad, Chairman of the Publicity Committee, said over 2,500 members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from 147 political wards across 14 local government areas,
Senator Yari emphasized the importance of prayer in ensuring the success of leaders, especially during challenging times like the current security and economic crises facing the nation.
Yari highlighted the significance of Islamic teachings encouraging followers to pray for the well-being and success of their leaders, as they play a crucial role in steering the nation towards prosperity and security.
During the five-day Ramadan breakfast event hosted at his Talata Mafara Residence, participants received financial support, with each person receiving fifty thousand naira and a set of traditional attire (Babbar Riga) from the host.
The event was attended by members of the APC at various levels of government, including ward, local government, and state executive councils, as well as former commissioners, special advisers, directors-general, councilors, serving and former members of the national and state assembly, stakeholders, Islamic clerics, and businessmen and women.
