The Member Representing Nasarawa Central at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Hajarat Danyaro Ibrahim, has reaffirmed her total commitment to continue promoting peace, unity, and development in society.

She stated that she will continue to operate an open-door policy, carry every segment of society along, and initiate programs that will have a direct impact on people's lives.

The only female lawmaker in Nasarawa State and Chairman of the House Committee on Women Affairs made this known during a family football match she organized in Nasarawa LG.

Hon. Danyaro emphasized the significance of unity and peace in the family, society, and across all segments of humanity as the first instrument of development, hence the need for her commitment to ensuring peace and unity among her people.

"This is a family sports event I organized for the Sarkin Pada Usman Family. It aims to strengthen the family in peace and unity as one indivisible entity.

"The game is designed to enhance peace and encourage unity among family members and will be an annual event for younger ones to cherish and emulate.

"The game started with the female teams led by myself as the captain, with the only goal scored by myself. This was followed by a match between the male teams, which ended 2-0 in favor of the males.

"In Nasarawa LG, the Sarkin Pada Usman family is among the biggest and largest families in town," she added.

Hon. Hajara Danyaro appreciated all the participants and the teams for their efforts, promising to sustain the game.

Those who spoke at the event commended Hon. Hajarat Danyaro Ibrahim for the initiative and her purposeful representation at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, urging her to sustain the spirit.

It was reported that the game, which took place at Government College Nasarawa, was well-attended, and trophies and cash were presented to the winners accordingly.
