Nasarawa State First Lady, Dangote Foundation Distribute Foodstuffs to Toto Communities

In a philanthropic endeavor, Hajiya Silifat Abdullahi A. Sule, the First Lady of Nasarawa State, orchestrated the distribution of essential food supplies to vulnerable individuals within the communities of Toto Local Government Area.

Collaborating with the Aliko Dangote Foundation, the distribution took place at the Toto Local Government Secretariat on Monday. The provisions, comprising rice, millet, and maize, aimed to alleviate food insecurity among the populace.

During the event, Silifat Sule emphasized the importance of nurturing children, particularly girls, in light of societal challenges. 

She urged women to support their spouses amidst economic adversities, emphasizing the role of solidarity within families.

Commissioner for Special Duties, Humanitarian and NGOs, Princess Margret Itake Elayo, highlighted the contributions of both the Aliko Dangote Foundation and Silifat Abdullahi Sule's SAS Hope Foundation, which collectively benefitted twelve hundred individuals in Toto local government.

Expressing gratitude, Barrister Labaran Magaji, the state Attorney General, commended the First Lady and Aliko Dangote for their benevolence. 

He also lauded Governor Abdullahi A. Sule for prioritizing security measures and advocated for infrastructure development, notably a road from the Secretariat to Rafin Kunama.

Similarly, Commissioner for Women Affairs, Aisha Rufai Ibrahim, and Toto Council Chairman, Abdullahi Tashas, commended the transformative leadership of Governor Abdullahi Sule and the First Lady, acknowledging their positive impact on the state across various sectors.
