Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau has re-stated his commitment to operate an open door policy to strengthen and consolidate the integrity of the legislature in the State.
This he re-affirmed his resolve to carry everybody along, get inputs from all segments of the society to enhance the performance and integrity of the legislators and the legislative institution in the State.
The Speaker gave the assurance while hosting various groups on a solidarity sallah visit in his residence at Garaku, Kokona LG today.
The groups includes Hausa-Fulani, workers unions, youths groups among other.
Speaker Jatau said the legislature is a critical component of government which needs to be protected and assured his guests that he is committed to upholding the tenets of legislature so as to bring government closer to the people.
Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau while drumming support for the government of Engineer Abdullahi Sule told the representatives of Hausa-Fulani that the state government is committed to constructing Basa-Angiri road to facilitate the transportation of farm produce given the agrarian nature of the locality.
He assured the workers unions of his 7th Assembly determination to partner with Governor Abdullahi Sule to better the welfare of workers in the State just as he encourage the youths to be agents of peace, unity and development in the society while government is poised in initiating youth oriented programs.
On the reason for the visit, leader of the delegation of Hausa - Fulani, Ado Duada Mohammed said it was the usual sallah homage and appreciated the Speaker for be transparent in his conducts and for always advocating for peace in the State.
The Hausa- Fulani representatives used the medium to commend Speaker Danladi Jatau for facilitating employment for people of Kokona local government and the recent Sallah presents, pledging their loyalties.
The position that was collaborated by other groups thus advising the Speaker to sustain the good leadership he has exhibited so far pledging their support for the government of the day.
