Nasarawa Speaker Extends Eid-el-Fitr Felicitations, Calls on Nigerians to Maintain Hope

As Muslim Communities  celebrate this year's Eid-el - Fitr to mark the end of the Ramadan Fast, Speaker Nasarawa State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau has emphasized the need to sustain the prayers and other good virtues exhibited during the holy month to build an egalitarian society. 

The Speaker in a statement signed by his Press Secretary Jibrin Gwamna felicitates with Muslims on successful ending the month long Ramadan fast and ushering in the sallah festival. 

The statement quotes the Speaker Danladi Jatau as calling on believers to use the period to sustain their prayers for the nation to overcome its emerging challenges and emphasized the need for citizens to keep hope alive in the face of economic challenges. 

While congratulating Muslims for successfully coming to the end of the Ramadan Fast, the Nasarawa State Number Three Citizen called for support for the less privileged ones in the society to give them sense of belonging. 

Speaker Danladi Jatau enjoined citizens to use their diversity as source of unity and strength calling on Youths and other Nigerians to remain committed to constituted authorities, champion the course of peace, unity and development in the society. 

While calling for support to government and leaders at all levels to succeed, Speaker Danladi Jatau tasked religion, traditional and community leaders to continue to preach peace and unity among their people.

Speaker Danladi Jatau re-affirmed the commitment of the 7th Nasarawa State House of Assembly under his watch to continue to partner with Gov. Abdullahi Sule's administration for sustain peace and development of the state calling on citizens to show more understanding, prayers and support to enable them succeed in the task ahead of them. 

The statement added that the Speaker Nasarawa State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau wished all Muslims successful sallah celebration.
