Lafia, Nasarawa - Hon. Solomon Akwashiki, the representative for Lafia Central Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly and Chairman of the House Committee on Public Accounts, has pledged to uphold an inclusive leadership style to foster development in his constituency.
Speaking during a meeting with the Ayatutu Tiv community of Tudu Gwandara, Gayam ward, Hon. Akwashiki emphasized that inclusive leadership would promote peace, unity, and overall development. He expressed gratitude for the community's support during the last election and reassured them of his commitment to delivering democracy dividends.
"I sincerely appreciate you for this visit; we have lived together with the Tiv community for a long time. Let's partner together for peace and growth in our constituency and the state at large," said Hon. Akwashiki.
Furthermore, he urged the people to support Governor Abdullahi Sule's administration, praising the governor's performance. He also called for backing the leadership of the House under Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau to ensure effective delivery of tasks.
In response, the leader of the Tiv delegation, Comrade Angur Emmanuel, affirmed their support for Hon. Akwashiki and acknowledged his contributions to Lafia Central. While appreciating his efforts, he appealed for continued inclusion in the lawmaker's activities.
The meeting was also attended by the Lafia Local Government SDP chairman, Abubakar Hassan Abdullahi.
