Nasarawa State Acting Governor, Dr. Emmanuel A. Akabe, has conveyed his Eid-el-Fitr (Sallah) message to the Muslim community, marking the conclusion of the holy month of Ramadan.

In his message, Dr. Akabe emphasized the significance of Ramadan, highlighting its role in strengthening faith through spiritual engagements such as fasting, prayers, and acts of kindness.

 He urged Muslims to sustain these virtues beyond Ramadan, emphasizing supplication, piety, and communal harmony.

Acknowledging the challenges facing the nation's economy, Dr. Akabe called on Muslims to pray for its recovery and support the economic policies of the Federal Government under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The Acting Governor also emphasized the importance of obedience to Islamic teachings and urged citizens to pray for leaders at all levels to govern with justice and humility.

In a plea for unity and peace, Dr. Akabe urged the people of Nasarawa State to embrace diversity and accommodate each other's beliefs and values, reaffirming the state's commitment to inclusivity.

Assuring residents of Nasarawa State's commitment to safety and lawfulness, Dr. Akabe called for vigilance and compliance with traffic regulations during the festive period.

The Acting Governor concluded by extending warm wishes for a peaceful and joyous Eid-el-Fitr celebration to all Muslims.
