... as he calls for prayers, support for President Tinubu, Gov. Sule to succeed, advises against politicising security situations

The immediate past Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, has urged Nigerians to be patient with the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as he is working hard towards addressing the nation's challenges.
This he said the President has the capacity to tackle the nation's challenges calling on Nigerians to be patient and give the President all the necessary support, understanding and prayers to enable him deliver on his mandate.
The former Speaker, who holds the traditional title of Walin Opanda made the call while speaking when he led prominent sons and daughters of Umaisha on sallah homage to their first class traditional ruler the Ohimegye Opanda HRH Alh Usman Abdullahi in his palace in Umaisha, Toto LGA of Nasarawa State.
He said that the numerous challenges facing the country will gradually be overcome by the President.
"Rome was not build in a day, Nigeria will be great by His grace, gradually President Tinubu will fix the country for the better, let keep hope alive, support Mr President to succeed" He said.
The former Speaker called on Nigerians to continue to pray and support President Tinubu and Gov Abdullahi Sule to succeed.
" Let's continue to pray and support His Excellency,President Bola Tinubu and His Excellency, Gov. Abdullahi Sule, they have great zeal and passion for the people and for peace, unity and development"
" His Excellency, Engr. A A Sule is doing well and he is providing the much needed dividends of democracy to the people of the state," he said
The former Speaker further made a case for government to assist the families of soldiers, who died fighting for peace in Toto Local Government and acknowledged the pragmatic efforts of Gov. Abdullahi Sule and the Nigeria Army in ensuring that peace return to the area advising against politicising security issues.
"Honestly I was taken a back when I had that someone who calls himself PDP big shot in Toto LG said he spent 100million naira to mobilised soldiers to Katapha, I feel shock and confused
" I asked myself, on what capacity was that, as the Chief Security Officer of the State or who, yes with the situation we found ourselves it needs collective effort but why lying and playing politics with security situation of such magnitude, is that the way to get recognition or cheap popularity from our people, for God sake, so he is now the government that deployed the soldiers, is unfortunate" Balarabe added.
Balarabe Abdullahi revealed that government has concluded arrangements to establish a permanent military base in Katapha in an effort to bring the matter to an end.
On his part, the Ohimegye OPanda, Umaisha, HRH, Alhaji Usman Abdullahi, admonished people of Toto LGA to avoid politicizing the security situation of the area that resulted to lost of lives and properties.
The first class traditional ruler appealed to the people of the area to forge a common front irrespective of their differences, support government to return a permanent peace in the area to enhance development.
The Chairman Toto LG Hon. Abdullahi Aliyu Tashas and Overseer of Umashia Development Area, Mr Iliyasu Miriam, appealed to the privileged individuals within the area to provide succour to internally displaced people in the area.
" This is to improve on their standard of living and give them a sense of belonging," they said.
While appreciating the security steps so far taken by government they called on farmers to return to their normal activities to avoid food insecurity in the area.
