The Federal Government has announced the approval of Thursday, 11th April 2024, as an additional public holiday to commemorate this year's Eid-El-Fitr celebrations.
Dr. Olubunmi Tunji Ojo, the Honourable Minister of Interior, extended his congratulations to the Muslim Ummah for successfully concluding a month of spiritual devotion. He emphasized President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's unwavering commitment to ensuring a safe and prosperous Nigeria for all citizens.
In a statement released by Dr. Aishetu Gogo Ndayako, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, the decision aims to honor the significance of Eid-El-Fitr and allow citizens to celebrate this important religious occasion.
