In the wake of the Eid-El-Fitr celebrations, leaders from Toto local government area of Nasarawa state have come together to advocate for peace and unity among Nigerians.
Hon. Aliyu Andullahi Tashas, the Chairman of Toto LGA, emphasized the importance of embracing love and harmony among citizens, regardless of their differences.
He stressed that peace is essential for societal progress and called for mutual tolerance and understanding.
Barr. Labaran Magaji, the Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General of Nasarawa state, echoed Tashas' sentiments, emphasizing the need for collaborative efforts to maintain peace in the region and the country as a whole.
He commended Governor Abdullahi Sule for his commitment to safeguarding lives and properties.
Similarly, Alhaji Auwalu Dantasidi, the National President of the National Artisanal and Small Scale Mining Cooperative Society (NASSMCS), urged Muslims to reflect on the lessons of love, peace, and generosity learned during Ramadan.
He encouraged unity among Nigerians, regardless of political or religious affiliations.
As Eid-El-Fitr festivities continue, leaders across the nation are calling for unity and understanding, hoping for a peaceful and blessed holiday for all Nigerians.
