Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, demonstrated compassion and support by visiting the family of the late Nollywood make-up artist, Abigail Edith Frederick, who tragically passed away at 24.

 The Governor, upon returning from an official engagement in Abuja, visited the family in Ikot Udoma, Eket Local Government Area, to console and offer assistance to the bereaved family.

Expressing his condolences, Governor Eno empathized with the family, emphasizing the unfortunate loss of a young talent who had recently completed her Youth Service and was passionate about her craft.

 He highlighted the resilience and spirit of Akwa Ibom's youth, urging them to pursue their dreams.

Governor Eno announced an automatic employment in the State Civil Service for the deceased's elder sister and directed the renovation of the family house to modern standards through the SSA on Humanitarian Services, Umo Ekpo. Additionally, the Governor pledged government support for the two undergraduate sisters of the late artist who are studying at the University of Uyo.

The Governor's visit and gestures reflect his commitment to supporting families in times of grief and adversity, reaffirming the government's role in providing assistance and hope to its citizens.
