JOS - The All Progressive Congress (APC) Plateau State Chapter has called for the urgent intervention of President Ahmed Tinubu in addressing the escalating security challenges in Bokkos and Mangu local government areas of Plateau State.
Expressing deep concern over the continuous attacks by terrorists, the party highlighted the severe destruction of lives and property in these areas, describing them as "killing fields.
The APC emphasized the need for a more aggressive approach to tackle the security issues, which seem to have spiraled out of control.
The party urged President Tinubu to support the State government in addressing the situation effectively.
Highlighting specific measures, the APC emphasized the urgent establishment of the proposed Army barracks in Bokkos to counteract the banditry attacks in the affected regions.
The party also called for unity among all stakeholders, urging collective efforts to confront the bandits regardless of political affiliations.
In closing, the APC extended sympathies to the families of those who lost their lives in the attacks and wished a speedy recovery to those injured.
