The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has faced suspension from his ward in Kano State over corruption allegations.
The executive members of Ganduje ward in DawakinTofa local government area announced the decision on Monday.
The ward's legal adviser, Haladu Gwanjo, cited gross misconduct and misappropriation of public funds during Ganduje's tenure as the basis for the suspension.
The move follows a vote of no confidence due to Ganduje's failure to address numerous corruption allegations, including a widely circulated video purportedly showing him receiving bribes from a contractor.
