President Bola Tinubu has announced the appointment of a new leadership team for the National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children Education.
Brigadier-General Lawal Ja'afar Isa (Rtd) has been appointed as the Chairman of the Board of the Commission, while Dr. Idris Muhammad Sani will serve as the Executive Secretary/CEO.
A press statement signed by,Chief Ajuri Ngelale Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity) disclosed that,
General Ja'afar Isa, a highly regarded leader, previously served as the Military Administrator of Kaduna State from 1993 to 1996.
Dr. Muhammad Sani holds master's and doctorate degrees in Islamic Studies and has a wealth of experience, including roles such as Director-General of Al-Iman School Lafia and Commissioner of Basic/Secondary Education in Yobe State.
President Tinubu expects the new appointees to leverage their extensive experience in managing this crucial Commission, which plays a vital role in ensuring comprehensive education for Nigeria's out-of-school children. This move aligns with the administration's commitment to securing the future of the nation by addressing educational challenges.
