During the FOMWAN Tafsir in Lafia, Nasarawa State, Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Danladi Jatau, appealed to women to show understanding and patience with their spouses during this challenging period.
Jatau urged FOMWAN and others to pray and support President Bola Tinubu, Gov. Abdullahi Sule, and other leaders for success, emphasizing the importance of prayer and support for leaders during difficult times.
He stressed that every leader needs the prayers and support of their people to succeed, highlighting the need for unity and peace irrespective of ethnic, religious, or other affiliations for development to thrive in the state and country.
Jatau called on women to support Gov. Abdullahi Sule's administration and urged them to be patient and supportive of their husbands for the progress and development of their families.
Earlier, Hajiya Hashiya Ahmed, FOMWAN Amirah, Nasarawa State Chapter, thanked the Speaker for attending the Tafsir despite his busy schedule and for supporting the association's initiatives.
Dr. Zainab Ahmed, National Assistant Secretary of FOMWAN, expressed gratitude to the Speaker for his commitment to promoting unity and peace in the state and the country.
The Tafsir was attended by notable figures, including Haj. Maryam Misa Ahmed, wife of the State Accountant General, Hajiya Maryam Isa Mustapha, wife of the Late Emir of Lafia, and Hajiya Rabi Ahmed Ubangari Alaku, wife of Aren Eggon, among others.
