In a concerted effort to bolster Governor Nasir Idris's empowerment initiatives, the Kebbi State Forum of Special Advisers has pledged over twenty million naira towards supporting the state's empowerment program. The decision was reached during a one-day meeting held at the Conference Hall, Cabinet Office, Birnin Kebbi, on Saturday.

Led by Alhaji Kabir Sani Giant, Chairman of the Kebbi State Special Advisers Forum (KSSAF), the advisers affirmed that this contribution aligns with Governor Nasir Idris's vision for collective leadership to alleviate the prevailing economic challenges faced by the populace. The move aims to provide relief, combat poverty, and bolster commercial activities, particularly during the forthcoming Holy Month of Ramadan.

Special Adviser to Kebbi State Governor on Media and Publicity, stated that  committee comprising eleven members has been established to assess the beneficiaries from all twenty-one local government areas of Kebbi State, determine eligibility criteria, and allocate funds accordingly.

Expressing satisfaction with the decision, Alhaji Kabiru Sani Giant praised the unity among members and reiterated their unwavering support for Governor Nasir Idris's agenda of fostering good governance and enhancing the welfare of the citizenry. He emphasized the governor's pride in their commitment to advancing his developmental goals in the state.

The gesture underscores the advisers' dedication to reducing poverty and uplifting marginalized communities, a sentiment echoed in their gratitude to the governor for entrusting them with the opportunity to serve the people.

The meeting also addressed other pertinent issues, including mutual deductions unanimously approved by all members and the substitution of certain executive members.
