Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, presided over the swearing-in ceremony of 21 Local Government Sole Administrators, following their screening by the Kebbi State House of Assembly.
A press statement signed by Yahaya Sarki, Special Adviser to the Kebbi State Governor on Media and Publicity, highlighted the importance of the administrators serving their respective localities diligently and with sincerity.
Governor Idris reminded them that their appointment was based on merit and a proven track record of service, urging them to meet expectations.
Administered by Justice Sabi'u Shu'aibu Bala of the State High Court in Birnin Kebbi, the oath-taking ceremony was held on Tuesday, with the Governor cautioning against the administrators relocating to the state capital and neglecting their areas of jurisdiction without valid reasons.
In response, Alhaji Dahiru Nayaya Ambursa, the Sole Administrator of Birnin Kebbi Local Government, expressed gratitude to the Governor for the opportunity to serve, pledging loyalty and support to the administration.
This move signifies the government's commitment to effective governance at the grassroots level, ensuring accountability and service delivery across Kebbi State.
