The Kadi Malami Foundation has commenced its yearly Ramadan food distribution program aimed at assisting beneficiaries in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State.
The launch event, held at Raayhan Academy School in Birnin Kebbi, saw Malam Yahaya Koko, Manager of the Kadi Malami Foundation, announcing the start of the program. Under the guidance of its Founder, Former Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Alhaji Abubakar Malami SAN CON, the foundation has been conducting this initiative annually for the past eight years.
The primary objective remains the alleviation of hardship during the Ramadan period, emphasizing its non-political nature and adherence to the teachings of Prophet Muhammad SAW regarding aiding orphans.
Initially targeting twenty-five thousand households last year, the program expanded to sixty thousand households across the state due to prevailing hardships in the nation.
Beneficiaries received ration cards from the foundation's headquarters in Birnin Kebbi to facilitate the smooth distribution of food items and ensure reaching the targeted number of households.
Malam Hashim Suleiman, a beneficiary, conveyed gratitude to Alhaji Abubakar Malami SAN CON and his family for their compassion towards the less privileged in the state. He also commended the dedicated staff of the Kadi Malami Foundation for their commitment to the program's success.
Leading the food donation exercise were Hajia Aisha Abubakar Malami, wife of the Former Attorney General of the Federation, accompanied by Hajia Saratu Malami, Hajia Ummu Malami, and other devoted staff members of the foundation.
