An Islamic Cleric Mallam Yusuf Idris has tasked Muslims to worship God alone and always do the right things because everyone will give account of his deeds on the Judgement day.
Mallam Yusuf Idris who is the Deputy Chief Imam of Umaisha Central Mosque made the call while delivering his Friday Sermon in Umaisha today.
It was reported that the Friday prayer in Umaisha had in attendance the Ohimegye Opanda HRH Alh Usman Abdullahi, the immediate past Speaker of Nasarawa State House of Assembly Rt.Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi and the Chairman Toto LG Abdullahi Aliyu Tashas.
In his sermon, the Deputy Chief Imam of Umaisha Central Mosque Mallam Yusuf Idris who spoke extensively on the purpose of the creation of human beings by God said is to worship him alone stressing that everyone will give account of his deeds on the Judgement day.
He said that one among the biggest sins in life is when one associates partner with God Almighty noting that God has powers over everything in human life and existence hence the need for believers to worship him alone and rest their trust on him.
He added that every life most surely test death and everyone most give account of his deeds hence the need for people to operate with the fear of God and do the right things at all times.
At the wake of recent killings in the area, particularly in Katapha Village, the first class traditional ruler of the area the Ohimegye Opanda Umaisha HRH Alh Usman Abdullahi and the Immediate past Speaker of the State House of Assembly Rt.Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi preached love, peace and unity among their people for the overall progress of the area.
It was reported that the Friday prayer witnessed large turn out of people.
