Governor Radda of Katsina State has inaugurated the Ramadan tafsir sessions at the Government House, marking the first of its kind in the state's history. The tafsir, a customary Ramadan practice, will be conducted annually at the government premises.
Leading the inaugural session, Governor Radda emphasized the significance of spiritual reflection during the holy month. Renowned scholars, including Alaramma Dr. Muktar Usman Jibia and Abdulaziz Adam, will guide the tafsir sessions.
Prominent figures attending the event include Rt. Nasir Yahya Daura, the Speaker of the State Assembly; Justice Musa Danladi Abubakar, the Chief Judge; and Alh. Usman Abba Jaye, the Chief Adviser on Traditional Affairs.
The initiative underscores Governor Radda's commitment to fostering religious harmony and promoting cultural traditions in Katsina State.
