In a bid to strengthen their political foothold, 11 Ward Chairmen of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State have called upon Hon. Musa Saidu Gude, the member representing Uke/Karshi at the State Assembly under the Social Democratic Party (SDP), to return to his former party, the APC.

Led by Mutari Samson, the APC Chairman of Karu Electoral Ward, the delegation made their plea during a courtesy visit to the lawmaker's office in Lafia today. They highlighted Hon. Saidu's past affiliation with the APC during the last primary election, emphasizing his subsequent departure to SDP due to issues surrounding ticket acquisition.

Despite his current political alignment, the Ward Chairmen lauded Hon. Saidu's performance in the state assembly, citing his proactive representation and community interventions, such as borehole installations and educational support for over 150 students. They urged him to maintain this momentum.

In response, Hon. Musa Saidu Gude expressed gratitude for the visit and assured the delegation of his commitment to serving his constituents diligently. He also rallied support for Governor Abdullahi Sule's administration, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts towards the state's progress.

The visit saw representation from all 11 APC Ward chairmen of Karu L.G, encompassing various constituencies within the region.
