The suspended Rector of Isa Mustapha Agwai Polytechnic Lafia (IMPL), Dr. Justina Kotso, has handed over the affairs of the institution to Dr. Nurudeen Mu'azu Maifata as the most senior principal officer. The handing over note "reads" in compliance with the directive by Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State and visitor to the Polytechnic, as contained in a press release signed by the Secretary to the Government of Nasarawa State, Barrister Muhammad Aliyu Ubandoma, dated February 9, 2024.
"I am honored to hand over management to you, Dr. Nurudeen M. Maifata, being the most senior principal officer who is not a member of the Governing Council as stipulated in paragraph 4 of the press release," she stated.
"The handing over takes immediate effect," Dr. Kotso wished Maifata the very best as he assumed the mantle of leadership of the academic.
