This information is contained in a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of the command and Chief Superintendent of Corrections, Stephen Abene, and issued to Breeze News in Lafia.
The statement added that the new Controller of Corrections, Adamu Yahaya, warned the staff against indiscipline and any acts capable of undermining the image of the service in the state.
The Correctional Service Boss called on the Nasarawa State Government and the public to support his administration as they did his predecessor, to enable him to succeed in the national assignment.
Yahaya, until his deployment to take charge of Nasarawa State Command, was a Controller of Corrections in charge of custody at the National Headquarters of the Nigerian Correctional Service, Abuja.
