Member representing Keana Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Mohammad Adamu Omadefu said that his victory at the just concluded bye election in his Constituency was a victory for democracy, state assembly and the state at large.
While attributing his victory to God and his people, he assured of better days ahead.
Hon. Omadefu stated this when he hosted delegations of Osuku of Kadarko and that of All Progressive Congress APC members from Aloshi ward today in Lafia.
He appreciated them for the visit and assured of better days ahead.
The lawmaker thanked God for his victory at the re-run election and assured of more dividends of democracy.
The lawmaker assured them of his support and quality representation at all times.
" I will look into all the requests you have presented with the view of providing solutions to them.
Hon Omadefu urged them to continue to support him and Gov. Abdullahi Sule to succeed.
The lawmaker, however, lamented over his experienced after the party primary, litigations upon litigations.
He said, the struggled open his eyes to know his true lovers and those against him as well as make him stronger.
The lawmaker, therefore, advised the opposition to always play the game according to its rules in the interest of peace and for overall development of the constituecy and the State at large.
Responding to request by the delegations from Kadarko on zoning the Local Government Chairmanship to Kadarko ward in the next Local Government election, he said that it has been his dream to make sure every ward has benefited through zoning arrangement.
He stressed that it was his agitation for zoning the Chairmanship position out of the Local Government Headquarters that made him to be the target of hate among some stakeholders, but assured them that he will never back track.
Speaking earlier, the leader of the delegation from Kadarko, Abdullahi Ishaleku, Kaura Kadarko said, they were in assembly to congratulate Hon Omadefu
on his recent victory at the polls and to pray for his successful tenure as well as appreciate him for appointing one of there own as Personal Assistant.
He solicited for Hon Omadefu's support to provide solar street lights in the major roads in Kadarko, transformer, construct road linking Kadarko, Gidan Railway and Agye.
He also appealed to the lawmaker to support the area to secure the Chairmanship position in next Local Government election.
On his prrt, the leader of delegation from Aloshi ward, Former Speaker, Bitrus Iyiwose said they are in the member's office to congratulate and to throw their total support on him to enable him succeed.
