Governor Idris Promises Justice for All, Vows to Fulfill Campaign Promises

Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State has promised to deliver justice to all citizens and fulfill his campaign pledges to the people of Kebbi State to a logical conclusion.

The governor made this statement during the launch of a magazine highlighting the activities, projects, and achievements of his administration organized by the Kaura for Governor (K4G) association, under the leadership of Sanusi Muhammad Zagga, held at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Lodge, Birnin Kebbi.

He commended members of the association for their unwavering support in his emergence as the Governor of the State and their philanthropic activities aimed at improving the lives of the people of the State.

"This association, K4G, was the first to encourage me to enter politics and aspire for governorship. I did not ask them to conduct their campaigns and activities in my name; they did so willingly," he stated. 
"The contents of this magazine and the statements made today truly reflect the reality on the ground of my government and my personal contributions to the people."The statement. 

Enumerating the achievements of his administration in infrastructure, education, health, and agriculture within eight months in power, the governor vowed to sustain developmental projects across the state.

"We have constituted boards and parastatals of government and educational institutions in the state. We have invested 15 billion naira in the construction and refurbishment of classrooms and procurement of learning materials. Contracts have been awarded for the rehabilitation of General Hospitals and the installation of equipment in the state," he announced.

Regarding agriculture, the governor highlighted initiatives such as the purchase of 10,000 solar water pumps, ordering 25,000 CNG-powered pumps, and distributing 220 trucks of fertilizer free of charge to farmers, along with the procurement and distribution of 320 trucks of grains to the people of the state.

Governor Idris also mentioned ongoing transformations in the state capital, Birnin Kebbi, and the planned road construction projects in Yauri, Ngaski, Zuru, and Argungu. He further announced plans to distribute additional grains to the people of the state for free during Ramadan fasting.

The governor expressed gratitude to the people of Kebbi for their overwhelming support for the APC in the recent re-run and bye-elections for Ngaski/Yauri/Shanga Federal constituency and Arewa/Dandi Federal Constituency.

In his welcome address, the Chairman of K4G, Alhaji Sanusi Muhammad Zagga, praised Governor Idris for his leadership qualities and visionary foresight in improving Kebbi State.

The Commissioner for Youths and Sports Development, Alhaji Nura Bala Fingila, highlighted Governor Nasir Idris's master plan for the development strategy of Kebbi State under his leadership.

Providing an overview of the magazine, Malam Isiyaku Abdullahi Easy, Deputy Rector of Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic, Birnin Kebbi, described it as a chronicle of the new Kebbi State under Governor Idris's administration, crafted by young talents detailing the monumental achievements in his eight months in office.

Professor Bello Bada commended Governor Nasir Idris for his remarkable leadership and for constituting an executive council wholly devoted to the development of Kebbi State.

The occasion included the presentation of awards of excellence to Governor Nasir Idris, the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Head of Service (HOS), and other government officials, as well as the formal launching of the magazine, which generated over one hundred million naira in donations.
