Gov. Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State urged the people of Agaza ward, Keana LGA, to vote and support Hon Mohammed Adamu Omadefu of the APC in the Saturday, Feb. 3rd re-run election for Keana State Constituency.
The Governor made the call during a grand rally today in Agaza, Keana LGA, for the Keana State Constituency re-run election scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 3rd, 2024.
He emphasized his administration's achievements for the people of Keana and the state at large, urging the people of Agaza to massively vote for Hon Omadefu.
"I want to call on you to vote and support Hon Mohammed Adamu Omadefu, of Quality and APC, to enable him to win the re-run election," he said.
The Governor commended Hon Omadefu's leadership qualities and assured of his administration's readiness to support policies and programs beneficial to the people.
Rt. Hon Danladi Jatau, Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, also urged the people of Agaza to vote for Hon Omadefu during the re-run election, highlighting his effectiveness as a representative of Keana constituency.
Similarly, Sen. Umar Tanko Al-Makura, represented by Hon Iliya Haruna Osegba, Former Commissioner for LG and Chieftaincy Affairs in the State, urged the people of Agaza to support Hon Omadefu during the re-run election.
Hon Aliyu Bello, the State APC Chairman, expressed optimism about APC's victory in the Saturday re-run election and called on eligible voters to support Hon Omadefu.
Stakeholders including Mr. Audu Egbo, Mohammed Ayitogo, APC Zonal Chairman, Nasarawa South, Mr. Peter Ahemba, Gov. Sule's SSA, Alhaji Muhammadu Ibrahim, Mrs. Rahina Jibrin, and others affirmed their commitment to campaign for Hon Omadefu in the five polling units of Agaza ward.
In response, Hon Mohammed Adamu Omadefu, the APC candidate for the re-run election, expressed gratitude to the Governor, his Deputy, Speaker, and the APC for their support and solicited votes from Agaza and others to secure victory in the re-run election.
It's noted that the Appeal Court ordered INEC to conduct a re-run election in five polling units of Agaza ward in the Keana State House of Assembly constituency, rendering the March 18th election inconclusive. The Governor held a town hall meeting with stakeholders and paid homage to the paramount ruler of the area before proceeding to the rally venue.
