The immediate past Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly Alh Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi has tasked married couples to adhere strictly to the ethics of the marriage institution, show justice and understanding to build a unique family and have a united and peaceful home.
The Former Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi made the call during the wedding fatiha of APC Chairman Toto LG Ahmed Shuaibu and his beloved one Hafsat Abdul-Kareem at Osuku town, Koton Karfe LGA of Kogi State.
Balarabe Abdullahi who stood in for the groom's family emphasized the significance of marriage to humanity which he said was ordained by God as a blessing and source of happiness hence the need for couples to adhere strictly to its ethics to build a united and peaceful home as well as have a unique family.
Balarabe Abdullahi called on the groom who is the APC Chairman, Toto LG Ahmed Shuaibu to fair God and exhibit high level of justice among his three wives.
Earlier, the Chief Imam of the area Mallam Ibrahim Muhammed pronounced Ahmed Shuaibu and Hafsat Abdul-Kareem as husband and wife after fulfilled all the marriage rites including presentation of medical certificate and payment of 50,000 naira as dowry.
Mallam Ibrahim Muhammed said when husbands are Justice in their homes and wives are submissive to their husband's with both parties show sincerity and understanding, they will have a peaceful and everlasting homes.
Various Speakers at the wedding including the Chairman Toto LG Hon. Abdullahi Aliyu Tashas prayed God to bless the union just as the groom and APC Chairman Toto LG Ahmed Shuaibu thanked the former Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi and all those who grace the wedding praying God to reward them accordingly.
