From Suleiman Abubakar
The Speaker of Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Danladi Jatau, has sworn in Members from Doma South and Keana constituencies, Hon. Musa Ibrahim Abubakar and Adamu Omadefu respectively. He congratulated them for emerging as winners in the just-concluded re-run elections held on February 3rd, 2024, in their respective constituencies.
The third-ranking official in Nasarawa State, Hon. Jatau, appealed to his colleagues to continue providing maximum support and cooperation to his leadership to enable him to succeed.
In his vote of thanks, Hon. Musa Ekye commended the leadership style of Hon. Jatau. "I also extend our appreciation to our colleagues for their words of support and encouragement to ensure we return to the lawmaking business."
It is noted that the appeal court has declared the election results of Hon. Musa Ibrahim Abubakar for Doma South and Adamu Omadefu for Keana constituencies inconclusive.
