...... Ohimege congratulates Gov. Sule, appeals for completion of Toto - Umaisha road, rural electrification

Friday 19th January, 2024 no doubt was a historic and unforgeable day in the history of Nasarawa State as the long and suspicious legal battle that accompanied the 2023 Governorship Election was put to an end.
This followed the final Judgement deliver by the highest court of the land, the Supreme Court which affirmed the victory of Gov. Abdullahi Sule as the dully elected Governor of Nasarawa State.
From Abuja shortly after the Verdict was given, the immediate past Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly Rt.Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi moved straight to his home town Umaisha and joined his people for the celebration of the great victory.
The people who turned out in their large numbers accompanied Balarabe Abdullahi straight to the palace of the loyal father as his first point of call.
The monarch HRH Alh Usman Abdullahi who was visibly happy received the son of the soil Balarabe Abdullahi amidst cheers and high ovation from the Mahmoud crowd.
Balarabe Abdullahi appreciated the royal father for his support, understanding and fatherly role in political, social and development affairs of the area and the State at large and urged him to sustained the spirit as God and government will always be there for his people.
He noted that Ohimege has remain a great father and role model and his respect and loyalty for him remains intact.
Balarabe Abdullahi informed the royal father and his people that Governor Abdullahi Sule has passion for the people and will complete all projects he initiated in the area and will fulfill all his campaign promises for them calling on his people to sustained their support and prayers for the Governor to succeed in his second term.
Abdullahi was quick to advised his people not to join issues with the opposition noting that what is good and left for them is to come and support the developmental initiatives of the Governor is actually their struggle was for the betterment of the State.
" I feel ashamed seeing a member of this place who was used for a certain interest to get to where he is today, instead of him to settle down to work for his people is busy thinking of how to fight Balarabe, I am not his match,
" Him and his godfathers know too well that I am not their property and match as far as politics is concern, this is just the beginning, they know just as we know that we defeated them in the election and we will always be ahead of them, time shall tell, all of us including themselves all know what happened, but we are people of faith and we accepted it as the will of God.
" A was elected and served as member of the State Assembly for Three good times, a was elected and served as Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly for good three times, I am not his match" Balarabe Abdullahi said.
The Ohimege Opanda HRH Alh Usman Abdullahi thanked God Almighty for given Governor Abdullahi Sule a resounding victory and thanked Balarabe Abdullahi for the visit to celebrate the moment with his people at home describing the visit as timely.
He commended Balarabe Abdullahi for his patient and faith in God at his political trial noting that God has a special plan for him urging him not to give up and remain committed to his ideal for seeing Governor Sule succeed and the passion he has for unity, peace and progress of his people.
The Royal Father appealed to Governor Abdullahi Sule to ensure the completion of Umaisha - Toto Road and the rural electrification in the area.
It was gathered that the celebration continues and it will hold till dawn.
It was further gathered that the Former Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi was accompanied by the Chairman Toto LG Abdullahi Aliyu Tashas, APC Chairman of the area among other stakeholders.
